Why do I get fewer units on my second token of the month?
ZESCO's residential bands count what you buy in the calendar month. The first 100 units cost — each, the next 100 —, then up to 400 units —, and everything after that —. Enter what you've already bought this month to see your real units.
When do the bands reset?
On the first day of each month. Buying your big token early in the month gets you the cheapest units.
Who sets the tariffs?
The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) approves ZESCO's tariffs. We check the figures on ZESCO's page against ERB's decision.
